I find the little details in sessions that no one thinks about. What most people see vs what I see is what makes me who I am. The wind, the dress, and the hair flowing in the wind. Momma kissing baby, daddy holding his littles while crossing over some rough terrain. Those are just some of the things I look for when photographing your family. While looking at the camera and saying cheese is ok for some occasions, I like capturing the raw moments, the realness of our lives. That's what we carry with us, that's who we are. I would be honored to have your trust in this process to capture that for your sessions!

I know there are so many things to consider when looking for a photographer and it can be so difficult to find exactly what you're looking for! We're overwhelmed daily with tons of images and options, and looking for a photographer is no different....you're likely even more bombarded! Hey there!
My name is Ashley Shippy and I've been chasing creativity and curiosity through photography since 2018. What started as a hobby has turned into a full time passion! I'm naturally an introvert so picking up a camera has allowed me to connect with people and help capture the moments they will remember forever.
While we can't stop time, I believe we can carry our favorite memories with us.
While I am pretty quiet at first, those who know me will tell you I open up pretty quickly when I'm in my element. I'm a Midwestern, sunset chasing, smile chasing girl who lives by the motto, "There's a sunset and sunrise, you can choose to be there for them.
